Bio

Being an architect, I am curious by nature, interested in the multiple facets of the City, the Social Space and the Environment.

I pursue an architecture that is able to listen to our contemporary and even future needs and at the same  time is related to our built and natural environments in a responsible way.
I studied architecture in Trieste, Italy, and Barcelona, Spain. While studying I gained experience working in international architecture firms, dealing with projects in Italy, Holland, Slovenia and Croatia. My interest in new ways of living in the contemporary metropolis brought me to develop a M. Sc. thesis on cohousing. The project was developed together with the local social housing public agency.
Right after the graduation I moved to Finland where I started working in a local firm with a strong international background as well as working as freelance. I have handled projects at very different scales: from urban planning to temporary structures.
I’m LEED Green Associate architect and I’m currently working as freelance architect and consultant pursuing sustainable strategies in architecture and urbanism.
In 2010 engineer Kimmo Rönkä, designer Esa Vesmanen, visual artist Hilda Kozari and me set up the DoTank, a shared platform for projects and consultancies.
Since 2011 I collaborate with the Finnish wood construction company Eco TimberHouse, being in charge of Planning and Technical Service regarding the Italian market.
