Vantaankoski (2016)

I was part of L Architects team that won The New Vantaankoski urban planning competition.
SRV, the organizer, sought for new ways of combining work, occupational wellbeing, mobility, versatile services in a business campus close to Helsinki’s airport.
Our proposal focuses on how the master plan itself should define and allow for flexible developments, temporary constructions, unforeseeable needs in order to accommodate the fast-pace changes that our society and the work environment are experiencing.
The campus is going to be built as a village, where spontaneous interactions is maximised, spaces and services are bought/rented/built on the go using apps and the management is optimised using big data and algorithms.
