Project with SBBA Oy

This summer cottage lies on a slope towards the sea in Kustavi, Finland. The idea is to maximize the view without compromising the economical feasibility and taking special care of the local conditions.
Through an open process, all the client’s needs and desires have been fulfilled. Two proposal were discussed: the realized one has the advantages of a bigger and more usable mezzanine, more coherence between the wooden structure and the opening on the south façade, a more proportioned living room and less volume to heat.
