The project seeks to answer three main questions: what are the new challenges we have to cope with living in today’s city, how those challenges are defined in the metropolis of Milan and how to apply possible solutions to the cooperative experience. In the contemporary the house are increasingly important personal spaces rather than those in common: the dinner is no more an established daily gathering, while our own  room becomes time to time study, gym, office, living room, even the dining room. If the inside is more and more atomization, outside our own apartment common areas and facilities are essential to create and strengthen a sense of community, which eventually leads to an improvement in the quality of life. A peculiarity of the work with a cooperative is the active presence of members from the early stages of the project. Therefore the core of our proposal is a modular system of elements (service + room) that allows a tailored solution of each apartments: extreme flexibility to create a wide range of solutions, to meet a wide range of inhabitants.
